OUR SERVICES
Hopefully one day I can help you with planning your hikes or backpacking adventures. My plan for summer 2025 is to hike in Yosemite and take my cousin along. I will list for you hikes I have done below and also link in pictures, previews, do and don'ts, gear reviews and more.
Adventure Gear
Gear up for your outdoor escapades with our top-quality adventure gear. From backpacks and tents to hiking boots and outdoor clothing, we have everything you need to stay comfortable and prepared on your outdoor journeys.
A Future page of my personal use for backpacking and wishlist items will be created in the future.

Accommodations
Not all camping is done in a backpacking tent. Sometimes you can explore accommodations in the park that give some comforts of home without breaking the bank. It is advisable to make reservations before hand especially if you are vacationing on the weekend.
2021 trip

In 2021 I set out to do solo trip to the back country. My route was happy Isle to Little Yosemite Valley. I was advised to not take the mist trail, because my gear would get wet. I took the go around instead. It proved challenging. I set up camp at Little Yosemite Valley. Bear sighting number 2. From there I went up towards Half Dome and went right. No half dome trip yet. Went several miles until the trail split three ways. It was hard to figure out which one was best and I ended up taking the Forsyth path. It took me towards sunrise lakes. You can see the photo above where the fires of 2018 had burned much of the trail. I had lost the trail a couple of times, but thankfully found were the trail was through my Garmin in reach and cell phone. I camped the second night at one of the three sunrise lakes. Mosquitos were dreadful. I am not normally affected by mosquitos in the Southern USA but here they were just born and like vampires. Next day I did a long day heading up to clouds rest and then Tenaya Lake. Swam in very cold water and wanted to be finished. Unfortunately you are not allowed to camp here. I packed again and then started on the road. I don't usually recommend this, but I did hitch a ride about two miles into the road walking and made it to Tuolume Meadows. Waited another day there and finally my friends arrived and the trip was much more enjoyable.
